Lakay Building & Remodeling specializes in all things construction and remodeling, both residential and commercial.
Owner, Jason Pecoy, worked with his father in the construction industry for most of his life until he eventually started Lakay Building and Remodeling. The business evolved out of a one-off remodeling job and grew into what it is today. We knew we wanted to keep things simple and put family first, which is why Lakay is named after our owner’s two daughters Laura and Kayla. The name stuck and the rest is history! Jason is also very active in the community. He sponsors several sports team and loves to support local.
We’re a value-oriented business. What that means is we put a premium on honest work and think things like trust and credibility are priceless; both hard to earn and quick to lose.
Our team consists of 5-8 employees. The ones that aren’t family might as well be. Beyond that, Jason keeps a team of contractors that he’s worked with for decades. When he finds someone that he loves to work with he keeps them close, which means he knows the first and last name of the electrician and plumber working on your home. Heck, he’s been to the electrician’s wedding!
